Services Offered
Believe in Grace Resources is a non-profit organization that helps support individuals in and around our local community.
Some services we provide:
We have a thrift store called “B.I.G.”, located in downtown Rocky Mount. We sell gently
used clothing items that range from baby sizes (for $1) to teens and adults clothing (for
$2). We sell other items that are also modestly priced. We help by giving 5 items to
the homeless, fire victims, and others in need for free. We support the foster care children
by giving 10 items free when they come into care or are aging out of the system. We help
with small furniture items also. We are open Monday through Friday 10 am-7 pm.
We provide supervision for supervised visitation for DSS surrounding areas (contact me
for information)
We are a payee agency through SSA and SSI. Besides providing payee services we can
help manage budgets and basic financial accounts.
We provide help with filling out, SNAP, Social Security, job applications, and other
documents.
We provide local transportation to appointments and community tasks. (We do not
transport kids.)
We provide boarding rooms, when available, for housing and rent fees to mental health
clients and or Foster and Future clients. This is not a licensing program, but we do
require them to work on certain skills in our program.
We help support all our programs with fish fry fundraisers at our home office on the 2 nd
and 4th Friday of each month. We deliver meals locally through pre-orders by calling 540-
556-1543. We also participate in local events and festivals, independence events,
farmers' days, Music festivals, and downtown Christmas festivals, to name a few.
We accept many forms of donations; of course, monetary donations provide us with
different options for providing help to the needy. Our Cash App is $BIGgrace2023 and
our VENMO is #B-I-G-Resources
We offer free Seminars when scheduled.
We provide First Aid and CPR training through the Red Cross at a cost.
